After my Grandpa passed away in October of 2018, we started to discuss the possibility of taking down his 1950’s built house and building on the property where so many family memories had been made. We reviewed five home builders and decided on Varsity not only because of their quality but because they were able to deliver us a fair price point that fit our budget. Michele Long, our Sales Representative was wonderful to us. She helped us along the way as the process unfolded and was always willing to meet with us to answer any questions or open up the house so we could take another excited look!  Now just nine months since the old house was taken down we are settled into our bright and beautiful new home. The house has felt like home from day one and with the layout being similar to the original, it’s a modern fresh take on Grandpa and Grandma’s home. All we have to do is take a look outside and so many memories come rushing back. We love our new home in this beautiful old neighbourhood. Living here truly feels like a dream come true. When I went through the Varsity Homes show home on Ridgway, I knew I liked the floor plan but knew I wanted to make it my own. With the help of Michele, we tweaked the kitchen layout to make it flow into the dining area better. Varsity Homes also helped me find the perfect lot to put my house on. We built a great bungalow with Varsity Homes in 2015 and couldn’t be happier with our home. I also appreciated their firm stance on quality and never compromising the integrity of the build, everything was designed and constructed to stand up against time and the elements. Everything was explained to us during each stage of the build and I felt they kept us informed and educated along the way. My husband and I are truly grateful to have gotten to work with the kind, passionate and knowledgeable team at Varsity, we are so pleased we chose them to complete our dream home. Like I said, it’s a big deal, a big investment financially and emotionally for your family. It’s been a year and we still wake up and can’t believe we get to live in this gorgeous home, perfectly designed for our growing family. I came to Varsity with a very specific idea in mind, ultra modern both inside and out with large vaulted ceilings.  Working closely with the designer, together we achieved exactly that and my home turned out to be exactly what I had wanted.  Throughout the build I enjoyed getting regular updates and photos to keep informed about the progress and the team was always available to meet with me on site.  The suppliers and trades worked hard to source the perfect finishes and did a great job installing them.   I highly recommend Varsity Homes.

Buying from Varsity was a great experience. We were in a situation where we needed to get quick possession of a new home, while at the same time selling our existing home. Possession dates were quick due to the sale our house and moving dates. We shopped around online and viewed a few show homes from all different builders. We contacted Michele at Varsity by email to get the specs on a couple houses we were interested in, and she got us all of the information very quickly and with no pressure on viewing the homes or any type of sales pitch.

After we narrowed our search down we asked Michele to view one of the homes, and due to our schedules we had to do the viewings in the evening/and on weekends. Michele was great with accommodating our schedules and met us at the home outside of regular show home hours.

Once we decided to buy, Michele made all the paperwork very easy, and Varsity was very accommodating with our shorter possession date needs, as well as with helping us have a few modifications made to the home prior to the possession date.

The walk-thru and touch-ups went smoothly and communication from beginning to end has made our experience with Varsity very good. Michele always got back to us quickly and at all hours of the day and night.

After years of discussing building a new house, my wife and I finally decided to take the plunge.  After consulting in various builders, we had decided to pick Varsity for many reasons, and we were not disappointed.

Our Sales Representative Michele was fantastic, and always made herself available when we needed her.  We wanted regular updates on the various building stages of the home, and she was always willing to join us on frequent walkthroughs to ensure that we were happy with the build every step of the way.

Colin and his construction team were also great.  I have heard various horror stories about new builds and issues that have come up from friends and family who have built houses, but our home was seamlessly built, and by far surpassed my expectations. It is obvious that their attention to detail is second to none.

Overall, we were extremely happy with our decision to build with Varsity. Our home was built ahead of schedule, the communication lines were excellent, the finished product was very impressive, and the pricing was very competitive.  I would highly recommend building through Varsity.
